The Office of Equal Opportunity works toward creating an NC State where everyone is welcome.

The Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) fosters a campus where everyone feels at home and part of the Wolfpack. Together with our Disability Resource Office (DRO), we advance equal opportunity by providing access and accommodations, offering prevention-based education and resources, and addressing concerns related to unlawful discrimination across our community.

We work to:

  • Prepare students, faculty and staff for local, state, national and global collaboration;
  • Ensure equal opportunity across campus;
  • Strengthen relationships across all groups;
  • Foster a welcoming and respectful campus;

Within OEO, the Disability Resource Office ensures that students with disabilities have equitable access to courses and programs by determining appropriate accommodations and partnering with faculty to implement them.
