Antoinette Norton has joined the Women’s Center as an administrative support specialist, bringing extensive NC State experience. She previously worked as a financial manager for one of the largest departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and has multiple years of managerial contracts and grants experience. From 2014-2015, Norton also served on the NC State Staff Senate as the external affairs chairman.
Before coming to NC State, Norton’s business and finance experience comes from years working in the private sector. Before moving to Raleigh form Seattle, Washington, she held the position of Apple Computer buyer for Seattle University for over a decade. Prior to that, she worked for Washington Mutual as brokerage finance manager.
Norton has been a Wake County Precinct official for many years and is a notary public. She believes in serving her community in the best way she can and is currently seeking to continue her education in social justice.
