CVM Fall Program on Race and Representation: Dr. Tracy Hanner

The NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is hosting a series of events focused on race and representation in higher education. Dr. Tracy Hanner, the first Black graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine and former chairman of the Department of Animal Sciences at North Carolina A&T State University, will kick off the series. His presentation is titled What is an HBCU? The Struggle for Education, Civil Rights and Economic Independence: Accomplishments and the Disparity in Veterinary Medicine.
