Pregnancy & Pregnancy-Related Conditions: Resources for Faculty & Staff
Faculty and staff members who are pregnant or experiencing pregnancy-related conditions can use the following resources to assist them.

University Resources
- NC State has twenty lactation rooms throughout campus available for use. The Council on the Status of Women maintains a list identifying all the spaces.
- The Paid Parental Leave Policy provides eligible state employees leave time for care and bonding with a newborn or a child under the age of eighteen, newly placed for adoption, foster, or other legal placement.
- Wolfpack Pick Up serves individuals from the campus community living with disabilities and injuries only. The service helps individuals navigate NC State’s campus. The service offers a pick-up and drop-off service around the main campus only.

- Pampers offers Childbirth Education Classes. It is a 9-part series, led by clinical childbirth experts, that provides in-depth information for new parents on all stages of the childbirth journey— from contractions and stages of labor to breastfeeding and check-ups.
- The Benefits group within Human Resources administers a holistic, robust, and inclusive childcare program for the university. NC State has partnered with several local providers to offer discounts on childcare for employees. See Child Care Resources for NC State University Employees for additional information.
- The Onboarding group within Human Resources maintains a list of activities and resources for children and families.
