Join us on Zoom as we welcome peer scholar Samantha Aamot for a conversation about the history of Take Back the Night and rape prevention education at NC State. Where does the name Take Back the Night come from? How do some campus efforts to protect students from sexual violence actually uphold harmful rape myths?
This Feminist Friday event will kick off Sexual Assault Awareness Month at NC State and feature the debut of our Take Back the Night digital story map and video. As we prepare for the 33rd annual Take Back the Night on April 8, participants will learn more about the history of Take Back the Night and how to get involved in future rape prevention efforts at NC State.
