Work on a new, devised performance piece will be developed in a series of “creative binges” over the course of four Saturday intensives. The final project, scheduled to take place in November, will be performed in collaboration with and in response to the NC State Gregg Museum’s exhibition, crossed kalunga by the stars and other acts of resistance. Curated by Tosha Grantham, crossed kalunga features visual art by five artists of color: José Bedia, Athlone Clarke, André Leon Gray, Tiff Massey, and Marielle Plaisir.
