Teaching About Your Students: Unintentional Violence in the Curriculum

This two-hour workshop will explore the history of teaching about marginalized and minoritized identity experiences through the lens of “the other” and the unintentional violence created in such a curriculum. We will also cover strategies for reducing this harm through research-informed praxis.
