Irrevocable Grace: Gallery Opening and Artist Talk with Jaleesa B. Maye
On February 11, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the African American Cultural Center Art Gallery (Witherspoon Student Center, 2nd Floor), the AACC will host a reception and artist talk with the creator of the current featured exhibit, "Irrevocable Grace," graphic artist, illustrator and photographer Jaleesa B. Maye of Durham, North Carolina.

The Hip-Hop Fellow Documentary Screening
The Hip-Hop Fellow is a feature-length documentary following Grammy Award-winning producer 9th Wonder's tenure at Harvard University. Featured interviewees include Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Kendrick Lamar, Young Guru, Dr. Mark Anthony Neal, Phonte and Dr. Marcyliena Morgan. Runtime: 79 minutes. Watch the trailer.

The African American Cultural Center is excited to announce that the 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration speaker will be Dr. Melissa V. Harris-Perry. The MLK Commemoration will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Talley Student Union Ballroom.
