GLBT Center Hosts Fourth Annual Potluck

Empowered, Encouraged and Hopeful: Women of Color Retreat
Forty-seven faculty, staff and students of color departed campus on Friday, November 10, 2017 to embark on NC State’s first Women of Color Retreat. The retreat, an inaugural program of the Women’s Center, moves beyond a diversity and inclusion rhetoric and engages in inclusive practices that claim space and reclaim the stories of experiences of women of color at NC State.
African American Cultural Center Welcomes Ronschall Love
Ronschall Love is the new program assistant in the African American Cultural Center. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Love attended Elohim Bible College, St. Louis, Missouri, where she studied theology and earned a master's of arts in Christian counseling. Before coming to NC State, Love worked for the federal government as a program coordinator for the Department of the Army in the Mission Support Office based in Kansas City, Missouri.
New NC State IT Accessibility Coordinator Emphasizes Outreach
Since her arrival last month, Crystal Tenan has already been spotted around campus, “getting the lay of the land,” as she describes it. As NC State’s IT accessibility coordinator, Tenan says her first priorities are needs assessment and helping to educate the campus about accessibility.
