Christina Poucher has joined Multicultural Student Affairs as its new administrative assistant. She comes from the Raleigh area and attended Wake County schools, later graduating from East Carolina University with a B.S. in nursing.
Poucher most recently served as the office manager for a tech company, where she handled the needs of the company’s offshore and onshore teams as well as monitored the budget, sent out and reconciled invoices and payments, reconciled the bank account and performed payroll and human resource duties of on-boarding and off-boarding employees. She also helped plan conferences and workshops and participated in coding some of the bots her company developed..
Poucher was a stay-at-home Mom for ten years, planning educational track-out experiences for two classrooms four times per year, interacting a great deal with students and education. She hopes to bring her skills and experience from those opportunities to her job in Multicultural Student Affairs.
She is also a tremendous Carolina Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes fan and enjoys hiking, swimming, baking and watching football and hockey.
