The theme of this year's celebration is "The Power of Voice." Headliner Benjamin Jealous, civil and human rights leader, former NAACP president, venture capitalist and author, will present: "The Forgotten Origins of Consequences of Race in America," January 16, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Stewart Theatre.

The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity will partner with the Division of Academic and Student Affairs to coordinate a week of events for the 2018 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration on January 15-17. 2018. The theme of this year's celebration is "The Power of Voice."
