While this statistic speaks to the national prevalence of domestic and dating violence among college-age women, it fails to account for the many multiple and intersecting identities of individuals who experience an elevated risk of interpersonal violence.
Chocolate Festival Tickets Now on Sale
The Women’s Center will host the 16th Annual NC State Chocolate Festival for Breast Cancer Research on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in Talley Student Union’s State Ballroom. Women’s Center Welcomes New Associate Director for IPV
Janine Kossen joins NC State as associate director of the Women's Center, focusing on interpersonal violence (IPV) services. In her role, Kossen will oversee and supervise IPV prevention efforts, programming and outreach, student leadership development, partnership and collaboration and direct advocacy services for students.
