Making NC State a diverse and welcoming place for all is everyone's responsibility. For a while now, David Churchill has served this goal through his involvement in several OIED programs and initiatives, all while working as a full-time staff member in other offices on campus.

OIED serves NC State with three major education and training initiatives: the popular Equal Opportunity Institute (EOI) certificate program, the groundbreaking National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) prejudice reduction workshops and over thirty free individual workshops open to the campus community. EOI has already reached waitlist status for 2015-16, but there are still many opportunities for training this year.

Marshall Anthony, Jr. has made an impact on many NC State organizations during his time on campus. Now a first-year master's student in Higher Education Administration, Marshall graduated with a degree in Human Resource Management in 2014.

Darren Lipman, a senior majoring in mathematics and political science, knows the meaning of service. Darren has been involved with the GLBT CommUNITY Alliance at NC State, serving as secretary during 2013-14 and president during 2014-15.
