The Building Future Faculty program (BFF) will return to an in-person experience for over 20 participants on March 30 – April 1, 2022. BFF is a three-day residential program focused on providing participants with a transformational and preparatory experience for faculty career exploration and development. The program welcomes doctoral candidates, post-doctoral students and professionals from institutions of higher education in the United States. The program offers an exploratory dive into the process for applying, interviewing, accepting and succeeding in a faculty role.
Participants for the 2022 cycle of the Building Future Faculty program were selected from over 200 stellar applicants from 13 states and 15 institutions and come to NC State with a diverse mosaic of identities, cultures and experiences.
