Join Us for the Ebony Harlem Awards on Stafford Lawn

Ebony Harlem Awards 2021

The African American Cultural Center will celebrate its annual Ebony Harlem Awards on Stafford Commons Lawn and via YouTube Premiere on the evening of Sunday, April 25, 2021.

The Ebony Harlem Awards of Excellence is the annual celebration of Black excellence at NC State. The event began in 1993, making this the 28th anniversary of recognizing the efforts and impact of the Black community on- and off-campus.

While there is no specific theme this year, we invite the campus community into Black summer cook-out vibes. If you are joining in person, come ready to social-distantly hang out on the lawn at Stafford Commons and enjoy burgers and dogs. If you’re joining us on YouTube, bring your favorite summer things and join us for some very special recognitions.

The program recognizes current NC State students, faculty and staff, who reflect and represent, through their leadership, dedication and talents, the values of the African American Cultural Center toward expanding Blackness and leading with integrity.
