NEWS FROM THE PROVOST

Preston Keith is originally from Charleston, South Carolina. He joined the GLBT Center in August as its new assistant director. He has previously worked as far away as Iowa and as close as Asheville.

While pursuing a Master’s of Arts in educational leadership and policy studies, he served as the graduate assistant for the LGBTQ Resource Center at the University of Iowa. Following graduation, he worked as the LGBTQ multicultural specialist at the University of Iowa before serving as the assistant director for Multicultural Student Programs at the University of North Carolina, Asheville. Preston enjoys reading, blogging, watching TV and relaxing at the lake.
