You asked, we listened.
We’re changing up our news to provide useful information for you when you need it, in response to suggestions and questions we’ve received from you. This fall, we’ll start sending you our new TIPs (“Toward Inclusive Practices”) mailings once per week.
OIED is here to serve you and the university community by providing resources, services and support to create and maintain a diverse, equitable and inclusive campus.
With many new developments in the DEI space emerging on campus and nationwide — such as NC State’s new strategic plan, Wolfpack 2030: Powering the Extraordinary, which includes a strategic goal devoted “championing a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging,” and several additional ongoing university-wide DEI initiatives — we stand ready to help guide you toward learning about and implementing inclusive practices in your academic and professional roles with more responsive, supportive and helpful information for faculty, staff and students.
How to Get Your TIPs
So, what do you need to do to receive our TIPs? Nothing. If you’re reading this, you’re already on the mailing list to receive them.
You’ll also continue to receive our full newsletter once per month.
